Market is trading in red, but these 3 small-cap stocks gain over 6 per cent!

These stocks from S&P BSE 250 SmallCap space were trading in the green after strong demand from buyers.

The benchmark index S&P BSE 250 SmallCap Index opened at 3,804.68 and made its day high at 3,810.66 and it is currently trading in red with a downside move by more than 0.50 per cent.     

From the same space, these are the top 3 companies that outperformed the benchmark index and were up by more than 6 per cent today.      

Shares of Mangalore Refinery & Petrochemicals Limited were trading up by more than 7.5 per cent on BSE today. The scrip closed on Thursday at Rs 54.84 and opened on Friday at Rs 53.64 a piece. Shares touched their day high today at Rs 59.56 after the surge. The 52-week high of the stock stood at Rs 127.60, whereas the 52-week low is Rs 40.40. Presently, the promoters are holding a 88.58 per cent stake in the company and the institutional and non-institutional holdings are 1.33 per cent and 10.08 per cent, respectively.      

Another top player today is KSB Limited. Shares were trading up by more than 6.5 per cent on BSE during the day. The stock opened at Rs 1,949 apiece and touched its day high today at Rs 2,128. The 52-week high of KSB Limited is at Rs 2,171.00, whereas the 52-week low stood at Rs 1,087.85. The promoters are holding around 66.69 per cent stake in the company, whereas the institutional and non-institutional holdings are 14.03 per cent and 19.21 per cent, respectively.      

One more top gainer today which shot up by 6.10 per cent is Swan Energy Limited. The stock opened at Rs 279.30 and touched its day high at Rs 301.80. On Thursday, the shares closed at Rs 277.55 a piece. The stock has a 52-week high of Rs 379, whereas the 52-week low stood at Rs 172. Currently, the promoters are holding about 64.09 per cent stake in the company, whereas the institutional and non-institutional holdings are 20.08 per cent and 15.84 per cent, respectively.
