KEC International hits 52-week high on winning orders worth Rs 1,681 crore
KEC International announced on Tuesday after the market hours that it has secured new orders of Rs 1,681 crore across its various businesses.
The company’s transmission & distribution (T&D) business has secured orders worth Rs 1,287 crore from Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd and other customers. Its civil business has won an order of Rs 254 crore for infra works. Smart Infra business has bagged an order worth Rs 63 crore for a greenfield smart city in India while its cables business received orders of Rs 77 crore for various types of cables in India & overseas.
The company’s stock today increased by 3.23 per cent and made a fresh 52-week high of Rs 442.95 per share.
Besides, the company reported a net profit of Rs 145.07 crore in Q3FY21, an increase of 0.1 per cent. It had reported a profit of Rs 144.92 crore in Q3FY20. The company reported net sales of Rs 3,289.23 crore for Q3FY21, an increase of 7.03 per cent as against the net sales of Rs 3,073.11 crore for Q3FY20.
According to BSE data, the stock traded at a P/E multiple of 18.47 and a price-to-book ratio of 3.54. The stock has a 52-week high and a 52-week low of Rs 442.95 and Rs 154.50, respectively.
At 10.34 am on Wednesday, the stock of KEC International Ltd was trading at Rs 438.20, up by 2.12 per cent on BSE.
