Its a hat trick: These three stocks were locked in the 20 per cent upper circuit today

Positive global markets, and cooling off of crude oil prices lent positive support to Indian counterparts.

Benchmark indices S&P BSE Sensex closed up by 1.4 per cent or 777 points at 57356.61 while Nifty50 closed at 17200.80 gaining 246 points or 1.5 per cent. Volatility Index VIX fell by 9.7 per cent amid positive sentiment. 

GPT Infraprojects, Kranti Industries and Advait Infratech witnessed positive action in today’s session.  

GPT Infraprojects zoomed 20 per cent in today’s session to emerge as the biggest gainer in the ‘A‘ Group. Today, the stock was locked in the upper circuit of 20 per cent and closed at the day’s high of Rs 192. The construction company is engaged in executing civil and infrastructure projects, while also manufacturing concrete sleepers for the railways. 

Kranti Industries was also locked in the upper circuit of 20 per cent in today’s session. The stock closed at Rs 60.90 from the day’s low of Rs 50.05. It also logged its 52-week high at today’s close. The company is a precision machining auto ancillary also foraying into the EV segment. 

Advait Infratech was the third stock that was locked in upper circuit of 20 per cent at Rs 192 in the day’s trade while logging a fresh 52-week high. The Ahmedabad based company provides products and solutions in the power transmission, power substation and telecommunication infrastructure sectors.
