Infosys acquires consumer insight firm Wongdoody

In a bid to enhance its digital experience ecosystem, software major Infosys has acquired US-based creative agency Wongdoody.

 

The deal is for a considerations of approximately US$ 75 million. This acquisition will provide Infosys access to internationally reputed creative talent and brand management expertise. Infosys offers digital transformation services to global clients spread across 45 countries.

 

Wongdoody is an award-winning full-service creative and consumer insights agency. The company has studios in Seattle and Los Angeles. The company engages in brand engagement, multiplatform content and retail innovation services for its clientele which includes Adidas, Amazon, ESPN, Microsoft, Toyota and T-Mobile.

 

At lunch hours, the stock of Infosys was quoting Rs. 1,213.60 per share, down 0.25 per cent on Wednesday on BSE.
