HFCL receives Rs. 579 crore order from BSNL
Himachal Futuristic Communications Ltd (HFCL) announced that it has received an advance purchase order worth approximately Rs. 579 crore from Bharat Sanchar Nigam (BSNL) for building 2G GSM network in Assam. The company gained as much as 5 per cent in morning trade on Wednesday.
The order comprises survey, planning, supply, installation, testing, commissioning, integration with existing core network and operation and maintenance of 2G GSM base service set network in uncovered villages of Assam. The network will include 924 BTS sites and cover about 1,313 villages.
HFCL is a leading telecom infrastructure developer, system integrator and manufacturer of high-end telecom equipment and optical fibre cables.
At 11:50 hours, HFCL was trading at Rs 28.10 per share, up Rs. 1.10 or 4.07 per cent on BSE. The scrip opened at Rs. 27.90 and touched an intraday high of Rs. 28.65 per share on BSE. The stock has a 52-week high of Rs. 36.65 and 52-week low of Rs. 11.85 per share on BSE. The stock attracted a traded volume of 16,91,724 shares on BSE.
