Hester Biosciences embarks on a new range of herbal veterinary products
Following the global trend of medication shifting from allopathy to herbal therapy in veterinary, Hester Biosciences announced on Saturday that it has embarked on a journey to produce research-based herbal products for livestock and poultry.
To this effect, the company has formally launched a new range of herbal products for livestock and poultry in its existing range of products as well as to support these animals and supplement its existing product range.
In animal health, Hester’s products will mainly cater towards targeting mastitis and production disorders, gastrointestinal tract diseases, reproductive disorders, ectoparasites, and skin injuries. These products will prevent potential diseases and treat chronic cases. Under poultry, its products will increase farm profitability through the use of a herbal replacer for choline chloride, vitamin C, and many other nutritional supplements.
Hester Biosciences Limited is engaged in the production of poultry vaccines and large animal vaccines along with the trading of poultry health products and large animal health products.
On Friday, the shares of Hester Biosciences closed at Rs 2,133.70, down by 1.27 per cent or Rs 27.45 per share, against a 0.42 per cent decline in the benchmark index. The 52-week high of the company is recorded at Rs 2,401.45 while its 52-week low is Rs 1,015 on BSE.
