Hero MotoCorp launches sales & aftersales services on a popular messaging app
Hero MotoCorp, the manufacturer of motorcycles & scooters, has launched a comprehensive range of sales and aftersales services on a popular messaging app i.e. WhatsApp.
The objective of the initiative is to provide new-age, digital-savvy customers, seamless and easy-access engagement.
The customers of the company will now be able to avail a host of services from an easy-to-interact menu-based chatbot that can be accessed anytime on the messaging platform. The company is offering informative, transactional, and location services through this new initiative.
Reacting to this, the company’s stock today increased by 1.10 per cent and made an intraday high of Rs 2,895.40 per share.
Besides, the company reported a net profit of Rs 1,127.85 crore in Q3FY21. It had reported a profit of Rs 880.13 crore in Q3FY20, which is an increase of 28.15 per cent. The company reported net sales of Rs 9,827.05 crore for Q3FY21, an increase of 38.9 per cent as against the net sales of Rs 7,074.86 crore for Q3FY20.
According to BSE data, the stock traded at a P/E multiple of 21.04 and a price-to-book ratio of 3.91. The stock has a 52-week high and a 52-week low of Rs 3,628.55 and Rs 1,753.20, respectively.
At the time of market closing on Thursday, the stock of the company was trading at Rs 2,863, down by 0.03 per cent on BSE.
