HCL Technologies partners with PTC & HPE to boost RMI solutions
The global technology company, HCL Technologies announced on Wednesday about its partnership with PTC, an industry leader in augmented reality & internet of things (IoT), and HPE, a global edge-to-cloud platform-as-a-service company to take its real-time manufacturing insights (RMI) solution to a greater level.
This collaboration will enable HCL to deliver streamlined, pre-bundled, ready-to-deploy configuration for challenging manufacturing environments. With PTC designed ThingWorx platform, the solution will be further enhanced by HPE’s Edgeline series making it more suitable for addressing the need for real-time visibility in all the departments, across manufacturing enterprises.
RMI comes at an appropriate time when remote working has become the new normal due to COVID-19 as the solution when deployed near factory set up can give faster results. It provides outcome-based values and enables supervisors as well as plant managers to distantly visualise factory operations and accordingly, predict and take actions of their operations.
The share of HCL Technologies closed 0.35 per cent down at Rs 722.50 on BSE. It has a 52-week high of Rs 738.8 and a 52-week low of Rs 375.50 on BSE. HCL’s share price has grown almost 1.72x since its March lows on BSE.
