Havells India plunges over 1 per cent despite new product launch
Havells India Limited, a technology-led fast moving electrical goods (FMEG) & consumer durable company launches Stealth Puro Air, which the company claims to be India’s first air purifying ceiling fan with three‐stage filtration.
Stealth Puro Air fan filters PM 2.5 and PM 10 pollutant along with volatile organic compound (VOC) filtration, delivers an approximate clean air delivery rate (CADR) of 130 cu. m/hr. The product is targetted to promote healthy lifestyle and add superior comfort & well‐being to consumer’s fast‐paced life and is priced at market operating price (MOP) of Rs 15,000.
This innovation in the ceiling fan category not only circulates air but also, purifies it at the same time. In addition to this, the fan also embeds a high-efficiency particulate air (HEPA) filter, activated carbon and pre‐filter that absorbs toxic elements and exhales fresh air with required essential nutrients. Apart from this, the ceiling fan also has technologically advanced features such as remote‐control operation, under light and LED air purity indicator, and is loaded with aerodynamic blades, which helps in silent operation and high air delivery.
It has also launched personal lifestyle fan in the name of Havells Fanmate, which comes equipped with carbon filters and charging option. These products are followed with 16 new products under ceiling, exhaust and pedestal fan category.
At 3.00 pm today, the shares of the company were trading at a price of Rs 1,032.10 per share on BSE, which is 1.16 per cent down from its previous close.
