GPT Infraprojects soars 12 per cent after securing Rs 187.81 crore construction order
The company has current orders in hand of nearly Rs 2,072 crore
Shares of GPT Infraprojects were trading up by 14 per cent intraday on Thursday after the company bagged a deal valued at Rs 187.81 crore from Maharashtra Rail Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited.
The said project entails the construction of cable-stayed Road over Bridge (ROB) near Byculla Railway Station between Sandhurst Road - Byculla Stations on CSTM - Dadar Section in Mumbai Division of Central Railway. GPT Infraprojects secured the order from the Office of the General Manager, Tender and Contract, Maharashtra Rail Infrastructure Development Corporation.
In its press filing with the BSE, the company said that it has current orders in hand of nearly Rs 2,072 crore, including a cumulative order inflow of Rs 188 crore in the current financial year.

At 3 pm on Thursday, the stock of GPT Infraprojects Limited was seen trading at Rs 85.30, up by 12.31 per cent or Rs 9.35 per share as against a 0.80 per cent gain on the benchmark index. The 52-week high of the scrip is recorded at Rs 107.75 and the 52-week low at Rs 31.85 on the BSE.
