Good news: These stocks will be moving out of ASM framework

On March 14, several stocks will be moving out from the additional surveillance measure (ASM) framework.

On March 14, several stocks will be moving out from the additional surveillance measure (ASM) framework. Sentimentally, this development can be considered positive in the short run for those stocks that are moving out of the ASM framework.

In order to enhance market integrity and safeguard the interest of investors, the Securities & Exchange Board of India (SEBI) and Exchanges have been introducing various enhanced pre-emptive surveillance measures such as reduction in price band, periodic call auction, and transfer of securities to the trade-to-trade category, graded surveillance measure, and ASM framework from time to time.

ASM framework is in conjunction with all other prevailing surveillance measures, which are being imposed by the Exchanges from time to time and as may be applicable. It may also be noted that the shortlisting of securities under ASM is purely on account of market surveillance, and it should not be construed as an adverse action against the concerned company.

Following is the list of securities moving out of ASM Framework w.e.f. March 14, 2022:
