Generic Engineering bags orders worth Rs 101.77 crore for various institutional projects
Generic Engineering Construction & Projects Limited has bagged new work orders worth Rs 101.77 crore for various institutional projects from reputed clients, existing as well as new, which inter alia includes residential, commercial, industrial and educational projects.
The first work order includes the construction of the residential building at Borivali & Kalyan (Mumbai) worth Rs 69 crore. Another work order includes infrastructure works for Software ODC Centre in Karnataka worth Rs 2.84 crore. Under the commercial segment, the work order includes infrastructure works for the GM office at Factory Outlet in Karnataka worth Rs 3.6 crore. Also, under the educational segment, the work order includes the construction of a school & community hall for trust at Thane (Maharashtra) worth Rs 26.33 crore.
With this, the company’s total order book stands at Rs 1,390.34 crore. Its book-to-bill ratio comes out at 6.9x, considering its total revenue for FY20. This gives revenue visibility for the next 7-8 years for the company.
On Monday, the stock of Generic Engineering opened a 6.4 per cent gap up at Rs 49.90 from its previous close of Rs 46.90. At 12.21 pm, it was trading 3.94 per cent lower at Rs 45.05 on BSE.
