Gati posts subdued numbers for Q3FY18
Gati reported its results for the quarter ended December 31, 2017 on Wednesday.
The company's consolidated revenue for the quarter came in at Rs 448.51 crore, registering an increase of 5.6 per cent YoY. This was primarily driven by revenue growth of 4 per cent in express distribution & supply chain, 8.5 per cent in fuel sales and 36.5 per cent in other sales.
The EBITDA for the quarter fell by 5.2 per cent YoY to Rs 24.08 crore with a corresponding margin contraction of 61 bps. Its EBITDA margin for the quarter stood at 5.4 per cent.
The company's PAT for the quarter came in at Rs 4.8 crore, a decline of 26.7 per cent YoY due to decline in other income.
Gati Limited is engaged in the express distribution and supply chain solutions, which cover integrated cargo services, such as road, rail and air transportation; shipping, which covers sea transportation, and fuel stations which deal in petrol, diesel and lubricants, among others. Its supply chain solutions offer integrated supply chain services to businesses across industry verticals. It offers third-party logistics and contract logistics services, e-fulfillment centres and upstream supply chain management services, such as procurement management and order management. It is also engaged in the business of e-commerce and cold chain logistics.
Today, the stock opened at Rs. 116.50 and touched an intra-day high of Rs. 120.60, and finally closed at Rs. 119.80, on the BSE.
