Ganesh Benzoplast surges on strong Q4 results

Ganesh Benzoplast reported remarkable numbers for the quarter. The company reported write-back of Rs. 51.2 crore in the quarter.
 

The revenue for the quarter rose by 53 per cent yoy to Rs. 48 crore in Q4FY17 vs Rs. 31 crore in Q4FY17. This was largely due to strong increase in revenue from chemical segment to Rs. 26.8 crore in Q4FY18

The EBITDA for the quarter rose by 113 per cent yoy to Rs. 12 crore in Q4FY18 Rs. 6 crore in Q4FY17. The EBITDA margin for the quarter recorded expansion of 740 bps to 26 per cent.
 

The unadjusted net profit for the quarter recorded substantial jump to Rs. 58 crore in Q4FY18 vs Rs. 3 crore in Q4FY17.  The company also recorded Rs. 51.2 crore exceptional  income on account of write-back, according to company’s DRS system.
 

The stock surged 6.76 per cent after company reported the results and currently trading at Rs. 92.45 per share on Wednesday.
