Five stocks witnessing long unwinding
Long unwinding refers to selling of positions or stocks owned for a longer period either to book profit or to exit it in anticipation of impending bearishness.
On the last trading session of the week, domestic equity bourses Sensex and Nifty50 are trading flat. In developing news, economic data from the US did not support the hopes that the Fed may lower the pace of rate hikes. All eyes are now on several corporates that are due to report their Quarterly Results which include Titan, TVS Motor, Britannia, Marico, Cipla and Tatva Chintan.
In the afternoon trade, Sensex is trading lower by 106 points or 0.18 per cent at the 60,728.22 level, while Nifty is down 3.75 points or 0.030 per cent at the 18,048.65 level.
