Five stocks witnessing long unwinding
Long unwinding refers to selling of positions or stocks owned for a longer period either to book profit or to exit it in anticipation of impending bearishness.
After a long weekend, the domestic benchmark indices opened on a positive note amid mixed global cues. However, at 11.39 am on Monday, both Sensex and Nifty were spotted trading in the negative territory, down by 0.16 per cent each at 57,769.66 & 17,259.35 levels, respectively.
Maruti, Titan, and Wipro emerged as the top gainers of the day, which climbed 2.46 per cent, 2.13 per cent & 1.78 per cent, respectively.
