Five stocks witnessing long unwinding
Long unwinding refers to selling of positions or stocks owned for a longer period either to book profit or to exit it in anticipation of impending bearishness.
The domestic benchmark indices opened the third trading session of the week on a strong note. However, at 11.27 am, Sensex was spotted in the red zone at 57,998.91 level, down by 0.25 per cent whereas Nifty continued trading in the green zone, inching higher by 0.32 per cent at 17,408.45 level.
M&M, HDFC, and Dr Reddy's Laboratories emerged as the top three gainers of the day, which surged 2.14 per cent, 1.45 per cent & 0.90 per cent, respectively.
