Five stocks witnessing long unwinding
Long unwinding refers to selling of positions or stocks owned for a longer period either to book profit or to exit it in anticipation of impending bearishness.
The domestic benchmark indices opened the fourth trading session of the week on a positive note. At 11.47 am, both Sensex, as well as Nifty, were trading in the green zone at 58,954.08 and 17,554.10 levels, inching higher by 0.83 per cent & 0.52 per cent, respectively.
The top three gainers of the day included Kotak Mahindra Bank, HDFC, and HDFC Bank, which surged 2.75 per cent, 2.67 per cent & 1.98 per cent, respectively.
