Five stocks witnessing long unwinding
Long unwinding refers to selling of positions or stocks owned for a longer period either to book profit or to exit it in anticipation of impending bearishness.
The domestic benchmark indices opened on a strong note, ahead of the Union Budget 2022. At 10.32 am, Sensex was trading at 58,866.14 levels, up by 1.47 per cent while Nifty inched higher by 1.38 per cent to be at 17,580.00 levels.
Sun Pharma, IndusInd Bank, and Tata Steel emerged as the top three gainers today, which surged 4.50 per cent, 3.38 per cent & 2.72 per cent, respectively.
