Five stocks witnessing long unwinding
Long unwinding refers to selling of positions or stocks owned for a longer period either to book profit or to exit it in anticipation of impending bearishness.
The domestic benchmark indices opened the last trading session of the month of January on a positive note. At 11.14 am, both Sensex, as well as Nifty, were trading in the green zone i.e. at 57,993.08 and 17,335.95 levels, up by 1.39 per cent & 1.37 per cent, respectively.
Tech Mahindra, Wipro, and Dr Reddy's Laboratories emerged as the top three gainers of the day, which surged 4.70 per cent, 3.48 per cent & 3.34 per cent, respectively.
