Five stocks witnessing long unwinding
Long unwinding refers to selling of positions or stocks owned for a longer period either to book profit or to exit it in anticipation of impending bearishness.
The domestic benchmark indices opened the last trading session of the week lower on the back of weak global cues. At 1.21 pm, both Sensex, as well as Nifty, were trading in the red zone at 61,084.47 and 18,215.45 levels, inching lower by 0.25 per cent & 0.23 per cent, respectively.
Infosys, L&T and TCS emerged as the top three gainers of the day, which advanced by 1.57 per cent, 1.41 per cent & 0.57 per cent, respectively.
