Five stocks witnessing long unwinding
Long unwinding refers to selling of positions or stocks owned for a longer period either to book profit or to exit it in anticipation of impending bearishness.
The domestic benchmark indices opened the last trading session of the week on a positive note. At 11.30 am, both Sensex, as well as Nifty, were trading in the green zone, climbing 0.51 per cent & 0.48 per cent, trading at 59,907.77 levels and 17,830.70 levels, respectively.
Asian Paints, ICICI Bank, and Wipro emerged as the top three gainers today, which inched higher by 1.80 per cent, 1.48 per cent & 1.40 per cent, respectively.
