Five stocks witnessing long unwinding
Long unwinding refers to selling of positions or stocks owned for a longer period either to book profit or to exit it in anticipation of impending bearishness.
The domestic benchmark indices opened the fourth trading session on a negative note. At 12.14 pm, both Sensex, as well as Nifty, were trading in the red zone at 59,369.40 and 17,686.20 levels, down by 1.42 per cent & 1.33 per cent, respectively.
Bharti Airtel and Maruti emerged as the top two gainers today, which climbed 2.66 per cent & 0.76 per cent, respectively.
