Five stocks witnessing long unwinding
Long unwinding refers to selling of positions or stocks owned for a longer period either to book profit or to exit it in anticipation of impending bearishness.
The domestic benchmark indices kicked off Monday's trading session in deep red and even at 11.17 am, both Sensex & Nifty were spotted in the negative territory. Sensex plunged 2.34 per cent and was seen trading at 55,679.61 levels while Nifty slipped 2.36 per cent to be at 16,584.65 levels.
Power Grid Corporation, Dr Reddy's Laboratories, and Wipro emerged as the top three gainers today, which inched higher by 0.60 per cent, 0.48 per cent & 0.13 per cent, respectively.
