Five stocks witnessing long unwinding
Long unwinding refers to selling of positions or stocks owned for a longer period either to book profit or to exit it in anticipation of impending bearishness.
On the last trading session of the week, the domestic benchmark indices opened flat with a negative bias. At 11.05 am, Sensex was trading at 57,224.78 levels, down by 1.17 per cent while Nifty inched lower by 1.28 per cent to be at 17,027.85 levels.
Infosys, HCL Technologies, and TCS emerged as the top three gainers today, which soared 2.83 per cent, 1.20 per cent & 0.65 per cent, respectively.
