Five stocks witnessing long unwinding
Long unwinding refers to selling of positions or stocks owned for a longer period either to book profit or to exit it in anticipation of impending bearishness.
The domestic benchmark indices opened on a positive note on the fourth trading session of the week and even at 11.25 am, both were spotted in the green zone. While Sensex was trading at 57,882.35 levels, up by 0.16 per cent, Nifty inched higher by 0.14 per cent to be at 17,224.70 levels.
The top three gainers of today's trading session include Bajaj Finance, Infosys, and Mahindra & Mahindra, which surged 2.02 per cent, 1.83 per cent & 1.35 per cent, respectively.
