Five stocks witnessing long unwinding
Long unwinding refers to selling of positions or stocks owned for a longer period either to book profit or to exit it in anticipation of impending bearishness.
On the second trading session of the week, Sensex and Nifty opened in the green. At 11.47 am, Sensex was seen trading at 57,275.73 levels, up by 0.03 per cent while Nifty was up by 0.01 per cent to be at 17,054.85 levels.
Power Grid Corporation, Axis Bank, and Bajaj Finserv emerged as the top three gainers today, which climbed 2.75 per cent, 1.77 per cent & 1.63 per cent, respectively.
