Five stocks witnessing long unwinding
Long unwinding refers to selling of positions or stocks owned for a longer period either to book profit or to exit it in anticipation of impending bearishness.
The domestic benchmark indices opened in the green on Thursday but at 11.40 am, both Sensex & Nifty were spotted in the negative territory. Sensex was seen trading at 59,475.82 levels, down by 0.89 per cent while Nifty plunged 1.00 per cent to be at 17,719.45 levels.
Power Grid and Asian Paints were the only two gainers in today's session, which inched higher by 0.50 per cent and 0.13 per cent, respectively.
