Five stocks witnessing long unwinding
Long unwinding refers to selling of positions or stocks owned for a longer period either to book profit or to exit it in anticipation of impending bearishness.
On the second trading session of the week, the domestic benchmark indices turned green after opening in the red. However, at 11.47 am, both Sensex and Nifty plunged 0.16 per cent & 0.09 per cent, trading at 60,447.76 and 18,051.65 levels, respectively.
Mahindra & Mahindra, State Bank of India, and Bajaj Auto emerged as the top three gainers today, climbing 1.38 per cent, 1.23 per cent & 1.15 per cent, respectively.
