Five stocks witnessing long unwinding
Long unwinding refers to selling of positions or stocks owned for a longer period either to book profit or to exit it in anticipation of impending bearishness.
The domestic benchmark indices opened on a positive note on the second trading session of the week. At 11.08 am, Sensex was trading at 60,998.94 levels, up by 0.05 per cent while Nifty inched higher by 0.21 per cent to be at 18,162.80 levels.
Tech Mahindra, Tata Steel, and Bajaj Finance emerged as the top three gainers today, which climbed 4.28 per cent, 1.95 per cent & 1.79 per cent, respectively.
