EKI Energy Services becomes 335th company to get listed on BSE SME platform
EKI Energy Services Limited became the 335th company to get listed on BSE SME platform on April 7, 2021. The company came out with its initial public offering and successfully completed the public issue on March 26, 2021.
The initial public offering was of 18,24,000 equity shares of Rs 10 each for cash at a price of Rs 102 per equity share, aggregating to Rs 18.60 crore. EKI Energy Services Limited Company is engaged in the business of carbon credits trading and climate change advisory services, business excellence advisory, and electrical safety audits. The company offers its services to various clients in the government and private sectors like power generation, waste management, clean development mechanism, airports, etc.
Mumbai-based Hem Securities Limited was the lead manager to EKI Energy Services Limited. So far, 97 companies have migrated to the mainboard. The 334 companies listed on BSE SME Platform have raised around Rs 3,469.91 crore from the market and the total market capitalisation of 334 companies as of April 6, 2021 is Rs 21,564.42 crore.
BSE became the first stock exchange to get approval from SEBI and launch its SME platform on March 13, 2012. BSE is the market leader in this segment with a market share of 61 per cent. The response since the launch of this platform by BSE has been very positive to date.
