A key highlight is the successful field testing of their indigenous fixed-wing drone platform, the 'aerRecon ARM-5', developed in collaboration with Aerpace Robotics Private Limited.
The aerRecon ARM-5 is specifically designed for border surveillance, remote terrain monitoring, and high-altitude operations. It is a fixed-wing drone with a 2-meter wingspan and a 5 kg payload capacity. The drone is equipped with vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) capability. During testing, it achieved a forward flight speed of 125 km/h. The flight trial confirmed the drone's ability to perform complex autonomous flight operations, maintain high-speed stability, and execute smooth transitions between vertical and forward propulsion modes.
