Do you hold these stocks that are experiencing a positive breakout?

Markets opened in the green ahead of the Reserve Bank of India's Monetary Policy Committee meeting and mixed global trends. This post will identify the top stocks with price volume breakout.

Nifty 50 began modestly ahead of the result of the Reserve Bank of India's (RBI) three-day monetary policy meeting. Investors anticipated a rate rise of 35 to 50 basis points, and the RBI raised the repo rate by 50 basis points, as expected. Additionally, it kept up its policy of withdrawal of accommodation.

Another rate rise at the next MPC meeting is more likely as long as inflation remains over the RBI's upper tolerance zone. However, it appears that Consumer Price Index (CPI) inflation has peaked, and the RBI may slow the pace of rate hikes. A rate rise of 35 to 40 basis points is likely at the next MPC meeting.

Before the release of the NFP (No Farm Payrolls) data on Friday, the US markets absorbed the most recent flurry of earnings news. As a result, key US indices had a volatile session.

At the time of writing, Nifty 50 was trading at 17,468.45, up 86.45 points (0.5 per cent). Except for the automobile sector, all sectors are trading in the green, with PSU banks, FMCG, and real estate leading the way.

Broader indices, on the other hand, performed mixed versus the frontline indices, with the Nifty Mid-Cap index and the Nifty Small-Cap index trading up by 0.17 per cent and 0.47 per cent, respectively.

According to preliminary statistics as of August 4, 2022, Foreign Institutional Investors (FII) purchased shares worth Rs 1,474.77 crore, while Domestic Institutional Investors (DII) sold shares for Rs 46.79 crore. The advance-decline ratio appears to be robust, with 2,009 stocks rising, 1,104 falling, and 131 remaining unchanged.
