Day’s Movers: These stocks were among the top gainers on March 29

Here are the top gaining stocks in BSE Group ‘A’.

On Wednesday, the frontline equity indices finished higher than its previous closing. The 30-share index, Sensex gained 0.60 per cent or 346.37 points and closed at 57,960.09, while the 50-share index, Nifty closed at 17,080.70 gained by 0.76 per cent. Some of the shares that were the top gainer in today's trade out of BSE Group 'A' were Astec Lifesciences Ltd, Suzlon Energy Ltd and NBCC Ltd.       

Shares of Astec Lifesciences Ltd zoomed 20 per cent in today’s session and closed at Rs 1295.55 over its previous close of 1079.65. Today, shares of Astec Lifesciences touched an intraday high and low of Rs 1295.55 and Rs 1095.15, respectively.    

Another constituent of BSE ‘A’ Group that rallied was Suzlon Energy, gaining 12.29 per cent in today’s session closing at Rs 7.95. Today, the intraday high and low of Suzlon Energy were Rs 8.10 and Rs 7.06, respectively.  

NBCC Ltd also rallied 11.92 per cent and closed at Rs 34.84 over its previous close of Rs 31.13. The intraday high and low of NBCC Ltd were Rs 36.72 and Rs 31.45, respectively.
