Day’s Movers: These stocks were among the top gainers on March 28

Here are the top gaining stocks in BSE Group ‘A’.

On Tuesday, the frontline equity indices stood flat over its previous closing. The 30-share index, Sensex slightly declined by 0.07 per cent or 40.14 points and closed at 57,613.72 while the 50-share index, Nifty closed at 16,951.70 declining by 0.20 per cent. Some of the shares that surged in today's trade out of BSE Group 'A' were Techno Electric & Engineering Company Ltd, PNC Infratech Ltd and Sun Pharma Advanced Research Company Ltd.  

Shares of Techno Electric & Engineering Company Ltd zoomed 7 per cent in today’s session and closed at Rs 337 over its previous close of Rs 314.95. Today, the intraday high and low of Techno Electric & Engineering Company Ltd were Rs 339.25 and Rs 312.40, respectively.  

Another constituent of BSE ‘A’ Group that rallied was PNC Infratech Ltd, gaining 6.46 per cent in today’s session closing at Rs 282.55. Today, the intraday high and low of PNC Infratech Ltd were Rs 289.45 and Rs 271.65, respectively.  

Sun Pharma Advanced Research Company Ltd also rallied 6.10 per cent and closed at Rs 179.10 over its previous close of Rs 168.80. Today, the intraday high and low of Sun Pharma Advanced Research Company Ltd were Rs 184.85 and Rs 163.20, respectively.
