Day’s Movers: These stocks were among the top gainers on March 23

Here are the top gaining stocks in BSE Group ‘A’.

On Thursday, the frontline equity indices declined over its previous closing. The 30-share index, Sensex fell by 0.50 per cent or 289.31 points and closed at 57,925.28 while the 50-share index, Nifty closed at 17,076.90 declining 0.44 per cent. Some of the shares that surged in today's trade out of BSE Group 'A' were Sun Pharma Advanced Research Company Ltd, JK Tyre & Industries Ltd and Valiant Organics Ltd. 

Shares of Sun Pharma Advanced Research Company Ltd zoomed 11.82 per cent in today’s session and closed at Rs 182.15 over its previous close of Rs 162.90. Today, the intraday high and low of Sun Pharma Advanced Research Company Ltd were Rs 186.05 and Rs 162.90, respectively.        

Another constituent of BSE ‘A’ Group that rallied was JK Tyre & Industries Ltd, gaining 11.24 per cent in today’s session closing at Rs 167.30. Today, the intraday high and low of JK Tyre & Industries Ltd were Rs 170 and Rs 149.45, respectively   

Valiant Organics Ltd also rallied 9.82 per cent and closed at Rs 478.45 over its previous close of Rs 435.65. Today, the intraday high and low of Valiant Organics Ltd were Rs 484.55 and Rs 426.10, respectively.
