Day’s Movers: These stocks were among the top gainers on March 15

Here are the top gaining stocks in BSE Group ‘A’.

On Wednesday, the frontline equity indices finished lower than its previous closing. The 30-share index, Sensex declined 0.59 per cent or 344.29 points and closed at 57,555.90, while the 50-share index, Nifty closed at 16,972.15 and was down by 0.42 per cent. Some of the shares that were the top gainer in today's trade out of BSE Group 'A' were KPIT Technologies Ltd, G R Infraprojects Ltd and Chennai Petroleum Corporation Ltd.      

Shares of KPIT Technologies Ltd zoomed 8.79 per cent in today’s session and closed at Rs 790 over its previous close of 777.20. Today, shares of KPIT Technologies touched an intraday high and low of Rs 854.90 and Rs 780.85, respectively.   

Another constituent of BSE ‘A’ Group that rallied was G R Infraprojects, gaining 6.94 per cent in today’s session closing at Rs 1064.90. Today, the intraday high and low of G R Infraprojects were Rs 1085.10 and Rs 991.10, respectively. 

Chennai Petroleum Corporation Ltd also rallied 6.89 per cent and closed at Rs 269.35 over its previous close of Rs 252.05. The intraday high and low of Chennai Petroleum Corporation Ltd was Rs 271.25 and Rs 251, respectively.
