Day’s Movers: These stocks were among the top gainers on March 02

Here are the top gaining stocks in BSE Group ‘A’.

On Thursday, the frontline equity indices declined over its previous closing. The 30-share index, Sensex fell by 0.84 per cent or 501.73 points and closed at 58,909.35 while the 50-share index, Nifty closed at 17,321.90 and was down 0.74 per cent. Some of the shares that surged in today's trade out of BSE Group 'A' were Macrotech Developers Ltd, Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd and Kiri Industries Ltd.

Shares of Macrotech Developers Ltd zoomed 18.83 per cent in today’s session and closed at Rs 1004.50 over its previous close of Rs 845.30. Today, the intraday high and low of Macrotech Developers Ltd were Rs 1014.35 and Rs 833.15, respectively. 

Another constituent of BSE ‘A’ Group that rallied was Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd, gaining 12.22 per cent in today’s session closing at Rs 65.67. Today, the intraday high and low of Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd was Rs 67.50 and Rs 61.90, respectively. 

Kiri Industries Ltd also rallied 9.99 per cent and closed at Rs 305.40 over its previous close of Rs 277.65. Today, the intraday high and low of Kiri Industries Ltd were Rs 305.40 and Rs 273.05, respectively.
