Day’s Movers: These stocks were among the top gainers on March 01

Here are the top gaining stocks in BSE Group ‘A’.

On the first trading session of the month, the frontline equity indices gained after falling for eight days in a row. The 30-share index, Sensex rose 0.55 per cent or 326.23 points and closed at 58,962.12 while the 50-share index, Nifty closed at 17,303.95 and was up 0.51 per cent. Some of the shares that surged in today's trade out of BSE Group 'A' were Rupa & Company Ltd, Adani Enterprises Ltd and Dollar Industries Ltd.     

Shares of Rupa & Company Ltd zoomed 16.04 per cent in today’s session and closed at Rs 237.95 over its previous close of Rs 205.05. Today, the intraday high and low of Rupa & Company Ltd were Rs 243.25 and Rs 205.85, respectively.     

Another constituent of BSE ‘A’ Group that rallied was Adani Enterprises Ltd, gaining 14.70 per cent in today’s session closing at Rs 1564.55. Today, the intraday high and low of Adani Enterprises Ltd were Rs 1580 and Rs 1410, respectively.    

Dollar Industries Ltd also rallied 13.32 per cent and closed at Rs 358.65 over its previous close of Rs 316.50. Today, the intraday high and low of Dollar Industries Ltd were Rs 366.15 and Rs 316.75, respectively.
