Days Movers: These stocks were among the top gainers on January 12

Here are the top gaining stocks in BSE Group ‘A’.

On Thursday, the frontline equity indices declined over its previous closing. The 30 share index, Sensex declined 0.25 per cent or 147.47 points and closed at 59,958.03 while the 50 share index, Nifty closed at 17,858.20 declining by 0.21 per cent. Some of the shares that gained a lot in today's trade out of BSE Group 'A' were National Standard (India) Ltd, Sindhu Trade Links Limited and Lloyds Steels Industries Ltd.      

Shares of National Standard (India) Ltd zoomed 20 per cent in today’s session and closed at its upper circuit of Rs 4770 over its previous close of 3975. Today, the intraday high and low of National Standard (India) Ltd were Rs 4770 and Rs 4107, respectively.   

Another constituent of BSE ‘A’ Group that rallied was Sindhu Trade Links Limited, gaining 10 per cent in today’s session closing at its upper circuit of Rs 23.65. Today, the intraday high and low of Sindhu Trade Links Limited were Rs 23.65 and Rs 20.65, respectively. 

Lloyds Steels Industries Ltd also rallied 8.33 per cent at Rs 17.55 over its previous close of Rs 16.20. The intraday high and low of Lloyds Steels Industries Ltd were Rs 17.75 and Rs 16, respectively.
