Day’s Movers: These stocks were among the top gainers on February 28

Here are the top gaining stocks in BSE Group ‘A’.

On the last trading session of the month, the frontline equity indices declined for the eighth day in a row. The 30-share index, Sensex fell by 0.55 per cent or 326.23 points and closed at 58,962.12 while the 50-share index, Nifty closed at 17,303.95 falling by 0.51 per cent. Some of the shares that surged in today's trade out of BSE Group 'A' were Adani Enterprises Ltd, JSW Energy Ltd and Primo Chemicals Ltd.    

Shares of Adani Enterprises Ltd zoomed 14.22 per cent in today’s session and closed at Rs 1364.05 over its previous close of Rs 1194.20. Today, the intraday high and low of Adani Enterprises Ltd were Rs 1421.95 and Rs 1103, respectively.    

Another constituent of BSE ‘A’ Group that rallied was JSW Energy Ltd, gaining 12.45 per cent in today’s session closing at Rs 234.45. Today, the intraday high and low of JSW Energy Ltd were Rs 236.70 and Rs 208.05, respectively.   

Primo Chemicals Ltd also rallied 12.44 per cent and closed at Rs 74.10 over its previous close of Rs 65.90. Today, the intraday high and low of Primo Chemicals Ltd were Rs 74.95 and Rs 65.15, respectively.
