Day’s Movers: These stocks were among the top gainers on February 09

Here are the top gaining stocks in BSE Group ‘A’.

On Thursday, the frontline equity indices gained for the second day in a row. The 30-share index, Sensex gained 0.23 per cent or 142.43 points and closed at 60,806.22 while the 50-share index, Nifty closed at 17,893.45 slightly gaining 0.12 per cent. Some of the shares that surged in today's trade out of BSE Group 'A' were Trent Ltd, Steel Strips Wheels Ltd and Cummins India Ltd.         

Shares of Trent Ltd zoomed 8.64 per cent in today’s session and closed at Rs 1342.45 over its previous close of Rs 1235.70. Today, the intraday high and low of Trent Ltd were Rs 1347.30 and Rs 1250.95, respectively.     

Another constituent of BSE ‘A’ Group that rallied was Steel Strips Wheels Ltd, gaining 7.74 per cent in today’s session closing at Rs 156.60. Today, the intraday high and low of Steel Strips Wheels Ltd were Rs 159.20 and Rs 143.70, respectively.    

Cummins India Ltd also rallied 6.94 per cent and closed at Rs 1577.70 over its previous close of Rs 1475.35. Today, the shares of Cummins India Ltd touched its 52-week high and had an intraday high and low of Rs 1618.00 and Rs 1535.15, respectively.
