The 30 share index, Sensex declined 0.55 per cent or 334.98 points and closed at 60,506.90 while the 50 share index, Nifty closed at 17,764.60 declining by 0.50 per cent. Some of the shares that gained a lot in today's trade out of BSE Group 'A' were Vodafone Idea Ltd, Procter & Gamble Health Ltd and Indus Towers Ltd.
Shares of Vodafone Idea Ltd zoomed 19.88 per cent in today’s session and closed at Rs 8.26 over its previous close of 6.89. Today, the intraday high and low of Vodafone Idea Ltd were Rs 8.57 and Rs 7.57, respectively.
Another constituent of BSE ‘A’ Group that rallied was Procter & Gamble Health Ltd, gaining 15.19 per cent in today’s session closing at Rs 4719.10. Today, the intraday high and low of Procter & Gamble Health Ltd were Rs 4791.30 and Rs 4287.05, respectively.
Indus Towers Ltd also rallied 12.98 per cent and closed at Rs 161.95 over its previous close of Rs 143.35. The intraday high and low of Indus Towers Ltd were Rs 164.80 and Rs 154.90, respectively.
