Days Movers: These stocks were among the top gainers on December 29

Here are the top gaining stocks in BSE Group ‘A’.

On Thursday, the frontline equity indices finished higher over its previous closing. 30 share index, Sensex gained 0.37 per cent or 223.60 points and closed at 61,133.88 while 50 share index, Nifty closed at 18,191.00 up by 0.38 per cent. Some of the shares that gained a lot in today's trade out of BSE Group 'A' were Sharda Cropchem Ltd, Jindal Stainless (Hisar) Ltd and Aegis Logistics Ltd.

Shares of Sharda Cropchem Ltd zoomed 10.30 per cent in today’s session and closed at Rs 501.70 over its previous close of 454.85. Today, the intraday high and low of Sharda Cropchem Ltd were Rs 515.70 and Rs 456.65, respectively.

Another constituent of BSE ‘A’ Group that rallied was Jindal Stainless (Hisar) Ltd, gaining 7.30 per cent in today’s session to close at Rs 426.15. Today, shares of Jindal Stainless (Hisar) Ltd were trading near its 52-week high with intraday high and low of Rs 433.30 and Rs 392.35, respectively.         

Aegis Logistics Ltd also rallied 6.80 per cent at Rs 351.90 over its previous close of Rs 329.50. The intraday high and low of Aegis Logistics Ltd were Rs 360 and Rs 332.30, respectively.
