Clara Industries Limited becomes Three hundred and fifty seventh Company to get listed on BSE SME Platform

Clara Industries Limited became the 357th company to get listed on the BSE SME Platform on December 29, 2021. Clara Industries Limited came out with an initial public offering of 7,02,000 equity Shares of Rs.10 each for cash at a price of Rs. 43 per equity share, aggregating to Rs 3.02 crore. The company has successfully completed its public issue on December 21, 2021.

Clara Industries Limited is Uttar Pradesh based company whose registered office is at Saharanpur. The company is engaged in the business of providing flexible plastic packaging solutions to their clients, company serve varied sectors spanning FMCG, Consumer Product, Hardware Tools, Hospitality, Housekeeping, Pharmaceuticals, Clothing & Hosiery, Edible Oil, Salt and Sugar. Company is known in the industry for manufacturing and supplying of high-end multilayer Plastic bags and multilayer Plastic rolls in India.

Mumbai based Gretex Corporate Services Limited, was the lead manager to Clara Industries Limited.

So far, 127 companies have migrated to the main board. The 356 companies listed on BSE SME Platform have raised Rs.3,782.3 crore from the market and total market capitalization of 356 companies as on December 28,2021 is Rs. 45,587.61 crore. BSE is the market leader in this segment with a market share of 61 per cent.

SEBI had come out with detailed guidelines on May 18, 2010 for launching of SME Exchange/Platform. BSE was the first stock exchange to get the approval from SEBI and launch its SME platform on March 13, 2012.

The response since the launch of this platform by BSE has been very positive till date.
