Castrol India PAT surges 30 per cent in Q4CY17
Castrol India reported its results for the quarter ended December 31, 2017 on Tuesday. The company's standalone revenue for the quarter came in at Rs. 970.3 crore, registering 7.7 per cent yoy increase.
EBITDA for the quarter rose by 43.3 per cent yoy to Rs. 306.6 crore with a corresponding margin expansion of 785 bps. EBITDA margin for the quarter stood at 31.6 per cent. The PAT for the quarter came in at Rs. 196.7 crore, yoy increase of 30 per cent.
Company has recommended a final dividend of Rs. 2.50 per equity share of Rs. 5 each for the year ended December 31, 2017.
On Tuesday, the stock opened at Rs. 177 per share and touched an intra-day high and low of Rs. 185 and Rs. 172.25, respectively, on the BSE.
