Steel Strips Wheels has signed an agreement with Tata Steel Long Products Ltd (TSPL) for the rolling of round bars of various grades for a period of three years. Tata Steel has had a strategic equity stake in SSWL since 2008.
The deal is expected to have a supply potential of 50,000 MTs of rolled round bars per annum. The supplies from the company’s Saraikela Plant will start in October 2021. These products majorly target automotive customers in India.
Steel Strips Wheels’ scrip zoomed by approximately 3 per cent to touch a high of Rs 1,932 per share on August 30, 2021.
Intellect Design Arena has announced the appointment of Kannan Ramasamy as Executive Vice President - Global Head Partnerships & Alliances and Business Head of iTurmeric. He will play an instrumental in building and driving global alliances as well as expanding Intellect’s Partner ecosystem.
Kannan Ramasamy has over three decades of relevant experience working with leading organisations like HCL, IBM, NIIT and others, in leadership positions. He was the former Managing Director of Logica. He has also had a successful entrepreneurial journey with his own GTM advisory firm, GA Partners. He has been on the advisory board of Oracle Accelerator and was a mentor at Microsoft Accelerator.

Granules India has announced that it has received marketing approval from Health Canada for Acetaminophen extended-release tablets OTC, 650 mg for the treatment of arthritis pain. The product being manufactured is bioequivalent to the reference listed drug, Tylenol® extended-release 650 tablets. The drug will be manufactured at the manufacturing facility located in Gagillapur (Hyderabad).
The scrip of Granules India opened at Rs 333 per share and touched a high of Rs 337.55 per share on Monday.
