Buzzing stock: SRF makes a new 52-week high; stock rises 4 per cent
During Tuesday’s trading session, the stock of SRF Limited jumped more than 4 per cent and made a new 52-week high of Rs 5,074.85. The shares of SRF have gained 14.3 per cent in the last three trading days.
The company reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 315.20 crore in Q2FY21, which rose by 4.7 per cent YoY, as compared to Q2FY20 when it reported a profit of Rs 301 crore. The company reported net sales of Rs 2,062.98 crore for Q2FY21, an increase of 21 per cent, as against the net sales of Rs 1,702 crore for Q2FY20.
The stock of SRF Ltd has recovered by 105.66 per cent from its sharp decline in March 2020. On a YTD basis, the stock has gained by 45.29 per cent. In the last one month, the company has gained nearly 22 per cent.
According to BSE data, the stock traded at a P/E multiple of 33.17 and a price-to-book ratio of 5.53. It has a 52-week high and a 52-week low of Rs 5,074.85 and Rs 2,492.20, respectively.
SRF is a chemical-based multi-business entity engaged in the manufacturing of industrial & speciality intermediates with an annual turnover of Rs 7,062 crore.
At 2.04 pm today, the share of SRF was trading at Rs 4,980 on BSE, up by 2.28 per cent.
