BSE StAR MF processes over 3.6 lakh transactions on a day

BSE Limited's mutual fund platform BSE StAR MF processed a record 3.6 lakh transactions on a single day on Monday, February 12, 2018 with transactions of Rs. 750 crore. 

The platform provides India's largest MFs distribution infrastructure with about 2,00,000 IFAs, brokers, and associates using their network across India. It caters predominately to the retail category of the mutual funds industry. 

In January 2018, BSE StAR MF added 1.6 lakh new SIP. The platform has processed over 1 lakh transactions on eight occasions in the month of February 2018. It has witnessed over 800 per cent growth in the number of SIPs registered on the platform in the last 2 years.

Launched in December 2009, BSE StAR MF platform has seen an overall growth of over 565 per cent.
