BSE 500: These small-cap stocks hogged the limelight on August 5
Filatex, Subex and GTL Infra are among the biggest gainer in the “A” Group in today’s session.
At the closing bell on August 5, the Sensex ended at 58,387.93, up by 0.2 per cent or 89 points, while the Nifty index closed at 17,397.50 up by 15.50 points or 0.1 per cent.
Filatex, Subex and GTL Infra witnessed positive action in today’s session.
Shares of Filatex India Ltd zoomed 10.76 per cent in today’s session at Rs 113.20. The synthetic yarn and textile company has rallied 21.4 per cent in the last one week. The shares of Filatex India were the biggest gainer in the “A” Group in today’s session. Filatex India Ltd is engaged in manufacturing Monofilament Yarns for Zippers, Tooth Brush Bristles, Velcro, Magic Fasteners and Forming Fabrics in India.
Subex Ltd is having a dream rally on the bourses after sealing a partnership with Reliance Jio for AI Orchestration Platform, HyperSense, which will enable end-to-end 5G services for enterprises and consumers. The stock has logged a weekly gain of 55 per cent, hitting the upper circuit of 20 per cent in the last two consecutive sessions. Today, shares of Subex were again locked in the upper circuit of 10 per cent at Rs 43.90.
GTL Infrastructure Ltd hit an upper circuit of 10 per cent at Rs 1.47. The company’s board meets on Thursday, August 11, 2022, to consider and approve the Unaudited Financial Results for the quarter ended June 30, 2022. At the closing bell, the shares of GTL Infra sealed the day’s gain at 8.21 per cent at Rs 1.45 per share.
